Can all dents be repaired using Paintless Dent Repair?
Most minor dings and dents can be removed with Paintless Dent Removal. The original paint should not be damaged. A scuff or chip is acceptable. The edges of a panel are sometimes repairable, though access may be limited. Paintless Dent Repair in New Jersey can remove many dents that other PDR companies can’t. Our experience as artist and body shop technicians allow me to make the finest repair possible. 90% of minor dings and dents can be removed. Below are some exceptions to PDR repair.
1. Metal that has been stretched or a dent that is punched deep into the steel.
2. Panels that are dented on the rear wheel lip or other edges. Deep dented bodylines may not be recovered in most cases.
3. Dents that have damaged the paint or where the paint is peeling or cracking away from the dented area. Some repainted panels where body filler was used.
